Scrum Master
Job summary
The Scrum Master is responsible for facilitating the adoption of agile frameworks, ensuring the correct application of Scrum to promote self-organization, collaboration, and continuous value delivery. Their mission is to remove impediments, guide the team in practicing an agile mindset, and promote a culture of continuous improvement that enhances productivity and customer satisfaction.
This role combines facilitation, coaching, and servant leadership skills with experience in managing multidisciplinary teams and supporting Product Owners and stakeholders. In-depth knowledge of Scrum and complementary agile frameworks is required, along with the ability to create environments of trust and continuous learning.
Responsibilities
Facilitate Scrum ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Support teams in adopting agile practices, promoting self-organization and collaboration.
Identify and eliminate impediments that affect team productivity and progress.
Foster transparency, effective communication, and alignment between the team, Product Owner, and stakeholders.
Promote incremental value delivery and continuous improvement in each iteration.
Guide the Product Owner in effectively managing the backlog and prioritizing user stories.
Protect the team from external interference that affects focus and performance.
Facilitate conflict resolution and create a safe environment based on trust.
Measure and analyze agile metrics (velocity, lead time, burndown charts) to identify opportunities for optimization.
Participate in internal agile communities, sharing learnings and contributing to the agile organizational culture.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Scrum Master or in agile facilitation roles.
In-depth knowledge of Scrum and understanding of other agile frameworks (Kanban, Lean, SAFe, LeSS).
Current Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I/II) or equivalent.
Experience in digital transformation environments and technology projects.
Individual and group coaching skills, conflict resolution, and servant leadership.
Knowledge of agile metrics and project management tools.
Empathetic communication skills, facilitation, and multidisciplinary team management
Stacks and associated tools
Agile methodologies: Scrum (advanced domain), Kanban, Lean, SAFe, LeSS, Agile at Scale.
Agile management tools: Jira, Confluence, Trello, Azure DevOps, Rally, Miro, MURAL.
